Welcome to Route 66 a Retro 1950’s American Diner in the heart of Inverness.
Route 66 is a family friendly restaurant run by local couple Richard & Laura. Providing good quality homemade meals using only local produce apart from our buffalo which is a very rare and delicate meat.
As you step inside you are transported back in time with the black and white floor tiles, custom made red and white leather seating & jukebox classics in the background. There are guitars on the wall along with pictures of Elvis & Marilyn Monroe.
GET YOUR KICKS! With our steaks as big as Texas served on a sizzler with a Tennessee
glaze or try our massive double 66 and buffalo burgers. If you want something closer
to home try our huge hand battered fish or homemade steak pie. If you are not a lover
of meat do not worry we cater for all. We sell veggie burgers, Quorn dogs, fresh
salads and our very own homemade stone-
Come on down and get that real American experience with bottomless coffee and the best milkshakes in town or simply enjoy some of our homemade desert’s. If you are in a hurry we also do takeaway.
